Samir Pasharepresented a landlord who was investigated by Lancashire Fire Services for potential criminal offences following a fire in a building he owned.
The investigation revolved around whether the landlord was responsible for the safety failings that caused the fire. The landlord was interviewed under PACE conditions with a view to potential criminal prosecution.
Samir represented the client in the interview and assisted in advising the client throughout the investigation.
The Fire Services concluded their investigation stating they would not be pursuing any prosecution against the client.
