Client acquitted of Murder and Arson
Samir Pasha was instructed to represent his client at a hearing who was charged with attempted rape and sexual assault at Warwick Crown Court.
Despite Samir being instructed on the matter relatively recently, he immediately engaged with the prosecution and undertook numerous client conferences to take full instructions.
Samir’s client was arrested only 4 days after arriving in the UK to study from India. He was charged for these offences based on allegations made by his friend whom he had known for 7 years prior. She had picked him up from the airport and was providing him with accommodation when these allegations were made to the police.
After being instructed, Samir engaged with the prosecution, and representations were made in relation to the lack of evidence present in the case. The prosecution undertook further enquiries and decided to offer no evidence.
Instructed by Sulayman Dawodu of Samuel Ross Solicitors
