Samir Pasha’s client was charged with two rape matters after having arrived only days before in the UK to study at university.
The charge was based upon interactions alleged to have taken place on the university campus beforehand between the two parties that then led to the complainant entering the client’s residence.
Samir’s client had only arrived in the UK a matter of days ago from India to study when he was arrested and charged for these offences.
However, earlier this week at Birmingham Crown Court, the Crown confirmed their decision to discontinue all such proceedings against Samir’s client, thereby bringing an end to a highly stressful time for the client and his family.
