Crime News: Prosecution offer no evidence in driving case

Last week the CPS offered no evidence at Romford Magistrates Court for Samir’s client who was charged with driving not in accordance with licence.

The client was a driving instructor who was stopped by police driving his vehicle with an L plate. The police insisted this was not in accordance with his licence- which was a full driving licence.

At Court, Samir discussed the legality of the charge and the prosecutor agreed that no crime had been committed and the police were incorrect to assume so.
