With particular expertise in human rights, Qaseem has a deep-rooted interest in international religious persecution and discrimination, having worked with a number of NGO’s and diaspora community groups representing the interests of high-profile activists and religious leaders, lobbying for the release of prisoners of conscience and securing international protection in the United Kingdom.

Qaseem is frequently instructed on cases of failed asylum seekers and has an established track-record of successful fresh claim submissions being able to quickly grasp the underlying relevant facts and applying the best law to address gaps in previous appeal decisions.

​Qaseem has delivered training seminars relating to refugee law, UK immigration and the EEA regulations and has spoken at various events across the United Kingdom. He has an impressive pro bono portfolio, having recently travelled extensively to Ghana, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Abu Dhabi representing clients, delivering legal training and providing free legal advice.
